Two-Factor Authentication

This article will guide you on how to enable the Two Factor Authentication on your device.

iPhone

Apple provides a built-in authenticator on iOS. You will need to already have your account and password saved on the phone.

  1. Request two-factor authentication on Bowimi, which will show a QR code.
  2. Scan the QR Code with your camera and click the link.
  3. Save the authenticator against your account in the password list.

Alternatively, go to Settings → Passwords → bowimi.com → Set Up Verification Code and follow the instructions.

To view your OTP, check bowimi.com in your password list.

 

Android

Android does not provide a built-in authenticator (though brand offerings do vary), so you may need to download one from the Google Play Store. Google have one of their own which can be found here:

After installing the app, use it to scan the QR Code and obtain the OTP. The app will save the authenticator, so you can view it as and when needed.
